Review
of the Canon PowerShot A430
The Canon PowerShot A430 is aimed at beginners and those new to digital photography. It comes in four different colours - Silver Grey, Gold, Red and Blue. Despite being an entry level camera it still has a generous 4 megapixels and a 4x optical zoom which is higher than average for this type of camera.
There are 15 shooting modes and a My Colors option for extra creativity. The modes are Auto, Manual, Stitch Assist, Movie, Super Macro, Color Accent, Color Swap and Special Scene which offers Portrait, Night Snapshot, Kids & Pets, Indoor, Foliage, Snow, Beach and Fireworks. The Photo Effects available are Vivid, Neutral, Sepia, Black & White, Lighter Skin Tone, Darker Skin Tone, Positive Film and Custom Color.
This camera is PictBridge compatible which means that it will print directly to any PictBridge printer without the need for a PC. This camera offers great value for money.
