of the Canon PowerShot G7:
The Canon
PowerShot G7 is a smart, black, high spec camera aimed at the photo enthusiast.
It has 10 megapixels providing enough detail for cropping and enlarging
your pictures. The lens is a 6x optical zoom lens with optical Image Stabilizer
which counteracts camera shake at slow shutter speeds and in low light
conditions. There is a large 2.5" LCD screen viewable in sunlight. This

focus, 9-point AiAF and FlexiZone AF/AE. ISO speeds range from 80 to 1600

modes ranging from automatic to full manual control. Colour effects can
be added during and after shooting using the My Colors feature. Optional

A first class camera. Auto mode gives great results as a point and shoot,
but manual mode has all the options of a top SLR. Optional lens converter
increases the range of shots possible. Battery lasts well, even when using
the flash and recharges in a maximum of 1.5 hours. The focusing is fast
and accurate and the facial recognition works very well to prioritise
focus in a group shot. At last a digital as good as my EOS.
