Review of the Fuji FinePix A340 Zoom

This camera is very similar to the Fuji FinePix A330 Zoom. It has the same optical zoom functionality (3x), and the same focal length (equivalent to 38-114cm on a 35mm camera.) The megapixel count, however, is higher coming in at 4.23 MP which should deliver greater clarity.

Movies are recorded at 10 frames per second, so regard this primarily as a stills camera. For movies recorded at 15 frames per second consider the Fuji FinePix A345 Zoom or the Fuji FinePix A350 Zoom.

I am more than a lot impressed by the performance of this camera. I took it to Hawai'i with me and took over 400 pictures, not once did I have to replace the batteries because it told me to. I took over a hundred pictures with the LCD on before changing the batteries, and I only changed them because I wanted to. This is a GREAT camera for the price.

This camera is great value for the money. I didn't want to spend a lot on a digital camera, but for my money I got a 4 meagpixel cam with big optical zoom. Taking pictures and using the menu is very easy, and the camera takes nice clear pictures. I found the software that comes with the camera to be excellent too.

Recently bought digital camera finepix a340 for my wife...display is 1.5 okay, tools such as AF and zoom bars are excellent...ease of use for most functions...pictures are outstanding..download to computer then printed out....very good quality... good features Cons: software is a little shaky needed to tweak a few things for it to work correctly
