Fuji FinePix
A345 Zoom
Review
of the Fuji FinePix A345 Zoom
Both this
camera and the Fuji FinePix A350
Zoom record movies at 15 frames per second which is higher than the
fps rate on the Fuji FinePix A340
Zoom and will therefore result in smoother movies.
Both the
Fuji A345 and the Fuji
A350 have 3x optical zoom and a 1.7" LCD monitor which are respectable
for a basic point and shoot camera. The only real difference between them
is the number of pixels: 4.1 for the A345
and 5.2 for the A350.
Shooting
modes for the Fuji FinePix A345 Zoom include: Auto, pre-programmed scene
position, manual, macro and movie with monaural sound.
The Exposure
modes are Portrait, Landscape, Sports and Night modes. White balance offers
a choice of Automatic and Manual (Fine, Shade, Fluorescent light (Daylight),
Fluorescent light (Warm White), Fluorescent light (Cool White), Incandescent
light).

This camera is a really great camera because it's got clear photos and
many ways to choose how you want to take your picture. It's got sound
for videos which is great because many cams like this small 1 don't have
that! Only problem is it is VERY slippery and hard to hold onto sometimes.
I suggest some type of case or use the wrist band constantly! Just recently
i dropped my a345 fuji camera and it wont even turn on so thats a problem
but other than that it worked well when it still worked=[

This camera was affordable, easy to store, fun to shoot with, created
nice shots with vibrant color (with flash disabled, and worked well with
my PC. I dropped it from six inches high onto a carpeted floor and it
erased and unformatted the memory card. I changed the card and now the
zoom lens is stuck closed. Repair seems an impossibility and a huge waste
of my time. I think these cameras are just glorified disposables. But,
what are you going to do if you can only spend $350.00 on a point and
shoot? Eat it and don't drop it!!

This camera was okay, it was a good starting camera. Although i am in
the middle of finding a new camera, it is a good, basic camera that is
dependable. Great for the technically challenged!!

As you can see, I have given this camera 4 stars, but not 5 because there
are some things that could be improved. Firstly, the time it takes from
pressing the shutter button to the photo being actually taken seems to
me too long. I was photographing birds in my garden a few days ago, and
this space of time allowed them the opportunity to move, spoiling the
photo. Secondly, the darkness of the screen display was dissapointing
because it is difficult to see in the screen what you will be taking until
you have taken it and a brief showing of your resulting photo is displayed
for you (and by then, of course, it is too late). Finally the options
are a little diffficult to understand without rreading the manual thoroughly
(which, I'm afraid to admit, I don't like doing.) I am 15 years old, and
unfortunately expect to be able to work any piece of digital equiptment
with relative ease. Thankyou for reading my humble review. Moosemonger.
