Review of the Fuji FinePix F650 Zoom

The Fuji FinePix F650 zoom is really stylish looking and highly specified point and shoot digital camera. It has 6 megapixels which is good. The camera has 5x optical zoom which is higher than the more typical 3x optical zoom usually found in compact digital cameras. The digital zoom ratio is 4.4x. If a large LCD screen is what you're looking for in a camera then the FinePix F650 has one of the largest currently on the market, measuring a huge 3.0" in diameter.

The LCD screen fills most of the back of the camera. The camera comes with 32MB of internal memory. This can be increased with an xD-Picture Card which are available to buy separately in varying capacities up to 1GB.

This camera is suitable for beginners who want to use it in full automatic mode and also for more advanced photographers who wish to experiment with the aperture priority and shutter priority modes. The macro focal length is 3cm for taking very close-up shots. Movies are recorded in VGA mode at 30 frames per second for smooth playback on TV.

The camera uses a USB 2.0 high speed connection. It is PictBridge, DPOF and EXIF Print 2.2 compatible. PictBridge printers allow you to print directly from the camera without the need for a PC.

For the price this is an outstanding camera and is highly recommended.
