Kodak C875
Zoom
Review
of the Kodak C875 Zoom
The Kodak
C875 is (at the time of writing in September 2006) Kodak's top of the
range point and shoot model. The camera has a huge 8 megapixels giving
you the opportunity to blow your images up to 30×40 inches or 76×102cm
(Kodak's figures.) Most point and shoot cameras with optical zoom have
3x optical zoom but this camera comes with 5x optical zoom, a significant
improvement. The LCD screen is also large, measuring 2.5 inches. There
are 21 pre-programmed scene modes to help you get the settings just right
and 5 colour modes allowing you to add a creative touch. The camera comes
with useful anti-blur technology.

Kodak C875 Zoom reviews

As you would expect from Kodak, operation is simple to use and easy to
learn. This was my first experience of purchasing a digital camera, and
found I was able to take several excellent photos even before bothering
to read the instructions. Really excellent value for money - I certainly
couldn't find another 8 megapixel camera for anywhere near the price.
The video capability is also remarkably good.
