About the cheapest camera I could buy- would have liked something much more upmarket. It was a replacement for another digital I had lost earlier. My first suprise came when I went to boot it up and use it- the controls were very intuitive- basically just walked through it. Second surprise was when I started dowloading pics- in good light the photos were superb. Takes photos remarkably well under poor light conditions also (usually with flash turned off)- eg band contests in a theatre. At low light levels with very slow exposure speeds it really needs a tripod to combat shake. Generally quite good pics in average artificial room light. As well as personal enjoyment I use the pics in simple web sites, for accompanying newspaper articles and newsletters, and currently awaiting a national glossy publication now coming off the presses to see how the pics appeared in it. My only reservation was I really wanted an optical zoom- particularly for media work where close-up shots with strong visual interest are called for. However I have been pleasantly surprised how the 3.2Mp image still allows moderate cropping to produce a still-publishable picture with acceptable visual interest. Once I learnt the camera I learned how to work within its limitations to still get the pics I want- and sometimes just saying " Well that is simply beyond this camera's capabilities" and accepting it (this situation rarely arises!!) Definitely like it- and will stay with it until "death do us part!!" (death on the camera's part not mine hopefully!)

As soon as I got the camera, I couldn't wait to open it up and try it. It came with batteries so I was able to use it literally on the seat outside the store I bought it at. I took a few pictures, and mucked around with the video for the rest of the day. EXCELLENT! Definitely impressed. VERY good quality pics, and excellent capabilities. The internal memory is a bit small, but the range of SD cards fixes that easily. 5 out of 5!

When I first bought it I was sceptic. It was cheap (about 80$) but it had 3.2 mgpxls so I kept my hopes up. Anyway: 1. The setup of the camera was really easy, ready to go in a minute. I took some pictures and also filmed a little bit. (I bought a SD-memorycard 128mb). At first I thought it would be crap, its kind of plastic, lightweight and the snap-button was just a "press once and done" kind. I processed the info to my computer and DAMN I was stunned! The pictures look great! When you zoom in on them, you see the "furry" looking pxls, but the whole picture was awesome! The movies were much better than I thought too. In conclusion I can say; For that low price this camera is great! I have no doubt in my mind that others will be satisified also. Great work Kodak!

I am not very techno-savy and this camera is like Photography for Dummies. It is so easy to use that my 11 year old grandaughter can take perfect pictures. I am running Windows XP Home edition and it loaded with ease. Software is simple to use also. Perfect camera for beginners or the Pros. Also priced very low for the perfect gift!

Very easy to use for anyone with good quality pictures and good battery life. For the price this is a great camera and the picture quality is better than higher priced cameras. I use it all the time with ease.
