Kodak Z730
Zoom
Review
of the Kodak Z730 Zoom
The Kodak
Z730 Zoom is a new 5 megapixel from Kodak aimed at the "serious amateur"
or "enthusiast" end of the market. It has 4x optical zoom, 4x
digital zoom and a large 2.2" LCD screen. It offers a wide selection
of manual controls (see below) plus 16 pre-programmed scene modes including
Portrait, Snow, Fireworks and Text, as well as 5 colour modes (high, natural,
low, sepia, black and white.) The camera is fully compatible with Kodak's
Easyshare system.
Compare
this camera to the Kodak Z700 Zoom which
has 4 megapixels instead of 5 but a higher optical zoom (5x) instead of
4x. The LCD is smaller (1.6") on the Kodak
Z700 Zoom and it comes with slightly fewer scene and colour modes
but still plenty to choose from.
Features
of the Kodak Z730 Zoom include:
- KODAK High-capacity Li-Ion Battery and KODAK Li-Ion Rapid Battery
Charger
- USB cable and audio/video cables
- Wrist strap
- KODAK EASYSHARE Software CD with interactive software tutorial
- Getting Started Kit
- Custom camera insert that fits optional KODAK EASYSHARE Series 3 Camera
Dock or Printer Dock
- 32 MB internal memory
