Nikon Coolpix
4100
Review
of the Nikon Coolpix 4100
The Nikon Coolpix 4100 is the start of Nikon's 4 megapixel
"Fun and Leisure" range. The build design is similar to the
Nikon Coolpix 3200 but you get 4
megapixels instead of 3. The optical and digital zoom are the same as
those on the 3200, at 3x and 4x respectively. Like the 3200, the Coolpix
4100 also has an optional waterproof case.
Features
of the Nikon Coolpix 4100 include:
- 4.0 Effective Megapixels
- 3x optical zoom
- 4x digital zoom
- Compact size and lightweight body with easy to hold grip design
- 14.5MB internal memory
- Fast image copying from camera to SD card or vice versa
- 15 pre-set Scene Modes

I have had a Nikon Coolpix 4100 for a month. I have found that the camera
is pretty easy to use with most of the required features embedded in it.
The only concern is the Flash intensity. The photos come a lot dull when
taken at night and when taken indoors.
