Nikon Coolpix
S10
Review
of the Nikon Coolpix S10
Very similar to the Nikon
Coolpix S4, the Nikon Coolpix S10 has an innovative swivel body design
that lets you take pictures from more interesting angles such as from
the waist or overhead. Like the S4, the S10 has a high 6 megapixel resolution,
an impressive 10x optical zoom lens and a 2.5" LCD screen.
Improvements in the S10 include more internal memory
(16MB) and the fact that movies are now recorded at 30 frames per second
instead of 15 fps. Nikon have also included their Vibration Reduction
feature into this model to help reduce blur due to camera shake.
Other standard Nikon features include the D-Lighting
function which rescues underexposed images, the Face-Priority AF mode
for getting good portrait shots and the in-camera red-eye fix feature.
There are 15 scene modes to help you get the best shot in difficult lighting
conditions. Pictmotion by muvee is a feature that lets you create your
own slideshows and display them with music either on the camera's LCD
screen or on a TV.
