Olympus Camedia C-750 Ultra Zoom reviews

This is an outstanding camera. It's neat and functional with so many features which I still haven't fully explored. Picture quality is superb. The standard 16Mb XD card supplied is a joke so I've bought a 64 & 128Mb card as well. Battery life is acceptable. I have bought two extra sets of NiMH 2300 AA size batteries as back-ups. I have also fitted a lens adaptor tube which I leave permanently fitted. This allows the fitment of a protective skylight/UV filter and any other effect filters you may wish to use. The standard flash is quite powerful. This camera also features a hotshoe and I bought the Olympus FL20 dedicated flash for times when a more powerful flash is needed. Flash exposure is excellent with little washout. Low light focussing is a bit hit and miss however. The 10x zoom capabillity is okay but I've found that using the digital zoom to its max results in a grainy shot but that could be down to me not setting the camera up properly. I was tempted to upgrade recently but the lack of a hotshoe and the expensive proprietary battery on the latest models made me change my mind.
