Olympus FE-180
Review
of the Olympus FE-180
On the face of it there doesn't appear to be much difference
between the Olympus FE-180 and the FE-170.
What they have in common is that they both have a resolution of 6 megapixels,
3x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom and a 2.5" LCD screen. They also both
have the same 10 scene modes: Sports, Indoor, Candle, Self portrait, Sunset,
Fireworks, Behind Glass, Cuisine, Documents and Auction. The main difference
between the two cameras is that the FE-180 has an Auto Sensitivity range
of 64-1000 compared to 64-400 on the FE-170.
This means that the FE-180 will do a better job of taking sharp images
in low light conditions. The FE-180 also has 22MB of internal memory which
is more than twice that found in the FE-170. An attractive design and
ergonomic grip complete this camera and make it an appealing product.
