The Olympus MJU 725SW is a great looking camera available in three colours (Titanium Grey, Deep Blue and Cherry Red) suitable for taking on more rugged excursions than your average digital camera. It is shockproof from heights of up to 1.5m and is waterproof to a depth of 5m. If you don't intend going as deep as 5m there is also the MJU 720SW which is waterproof to a depth of 3m. There are 25 scene modes to choose from (see list below) making it ideal for virtually any situation. The sensitivity level can be set to automatic or manual with a range from ISO 80 to ISO 1600. The camera has a high resolution of 7.1 megapixels, 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom. The LCD screen measures 2.5" and has 115,000 pixels which is not as high as some other MJU cameras, but then these are not waterproof. The MJU 720SW and MJU 725SW are cleary aimed at the intrepid explorer market, or anybody who wants a camera that is as tough as it is good looking.
