I purchased an Olympus SP 700 as my first digital camera, and oh boy what
a disappointment. I was really surprised that the picture quality was
so poor, especially when using the optical zoom. I only had the camera
for about 3 months and eventually was so unhappy with the pictures it
produced that I took it back to Jessups and exchanged it for another camera.
If you are considering an entry level digital camera, look elsewhere.
