Samsung Digimax
A6
Review
of the Samsung Digimax A6
The Samsung
Digimax A6 looks virtually identical to the Samsung Digimax A5, but it
has 6 megapixels instead of 5. 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom are
the same as the Digimax A5, as is the 1.8" LCD screen. It offers 32Mb
of internal memory which is double what you get in the Digimax A5 but
you'd still probably want to purchase an external memory card.
There's
a handy self photo mirror so you can prove you really were there! Scene
modes, white balance settings and colour effects are all present as you
would expect on a digital camera. Movies are recorded at 30 frames per
second which will give sharp playback. The camera has a colourful Graphic
User Interface. The Digimax Reader function works as a scanner to read
through documents. The Samsung Digimax is compatible with PictBridge direct
printing so there's no need for a PC.
Features
of the Samsung Digimax A6 include:
- 6.0 effective megapixels
- 3x optical
zoom
- 4x digital
zoom
- 1.8"
TFT LCD
- 4cm Macro
- Pause
Function in movies
- VGA 30
frame movies with audio
- One touch
Manual Function(A/S/M Button)
- 32MB

- External

- Voice

I bought this camera almost a yr ago and was very impressed at first.
I would now never ever buy a samsung camera again. The battery life (as
others have mentioned) is terrible to put it midly, the photos begin good
but after a while when you upload onto a pc you notice a lot of grain
and blurryness on the pictures. Now my camera will not even turn on with
rechargeable batteries and its 50/50 on if it will even take brand new
unrechargeable batteries. Avoid is my advice, even this price (half of
what I paid) is over pricing this camera.

this digital camera is excellent its that good when i got broken into
and the camera stolen i went out and bought the exact same one and as
for the batteries the best ones to use with any digital camera are rechargeble
ones!!! the ones i have seem to last forever.

Overall the quality of the pictures I get with this camera are outstanding.
Especially for the price I paid. As with other reviewers, my complaint
has to do with the batteries. I have 2 Samsung original batteries that
I use with this camera, and if I happen to leave the battery in when the
camera is off, the battery drains real fast.

it is the first digi camara i have purchased found it quite easy to understand
and use. video footage is good and pic quality more than you need for
basic use. the only problem is the battery life is not at all good .i
took it out on the first day i had it and went through six battery in
one day it used to sets just learning how to set the camera up on average
getting about 5 pics per set of battery in the end took it back and got
my money back
