Review of the Samsung Digimax i6 PMP

The Samsung Digimax i6 PMP digital camera incorporates a Personal Multimedia Player and MP3 player into its sleek, curved design and therefore offers you two gadgets for the price of one. As a camera it is well specified, offering 6 megapixels, 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom. It has a good sized 2.5" colour TFT LCD screen, viewable in sunlight.

The camera records movies at 30 frames per second with audio and also has voice memo functionality. The camera has a number of pre-set scene modes to help you get the best setting for different conditions - Night, Portrait, Children, Landscape, Close-up, Sunset, Dawn, Backlight, Fireworks and Beach & Snow. Special effects (Black & White, Sepia, Negative, Red, Green, Blue, RGB) can be used to add a creative touch to your pictures. The PMP and MP3 functionality of the camera means that you can play video files and listen to MP3 music files.

The internal memory of the camera is 45MB but this can be increased up to 1GB using an SD or MMC card. The camera uses a USB 2.0 high speed connection for downloading images to your computer. It is also PictBridge compatible meaning that you can print directly to a PictBridge printer without the need for a PC. The camera uses a rechargeable battery.

At only 18.5mm thickness this versatile camera and MP3 player is slim enough to go anywhere. It offers lots of fuctionality at a great price.
