Sony DSC-N2
Cyber-shot
Review
of the Sony DSC-N2 Cyber-shot
The Sony DSC-N2 digital camera has much in common with
its predecessor, the DSC-N1, the main difference being a higher resolution
of 10 megapixels. The DSC-N2 also has a higher sensitivity setting of
ISO 1600 compared to the DSC-N1's highest setting of ISO 800. The pre-set
scene modes available with this camera are Twilight, Twilight Portrait,
Soft Snap, Landscape, Snow, Beach and Fireworks but it doesn't include
the Candle setting of the DSC-N1. The LCD screen is one of the largest
around, measuring 3.0" in diameter. The LCD screen is used for framing
shots since this camera does not have an electronic viewfinder. The camera
has a Pocket Album feature and Slideshow with Music function. The histogram
indicator gives information on the lighting conditions and the exposure
warning indicator blinks before you take the shot if the exposure level
is too low. The software supplied with this camera is Picture Motion Browser
Ver.1.1 and Picture Package Music Transfer. The accessories that come
with the camera are a battery(NP-BG1), charger(BC-CSG), multi-use cable,
wrist strap, paint pen and CD-ROM.
