Review of the Sony DSC-S80 Cyber-shot

The Sony DSC-S80 Cyber-shot belongs in Sony's new "S" range of digital point and shoot cameras. Like the DSC-S40 it has 4.1 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom Carl Zeiss lens. However, it has a much larger LCD than the DSC-S40 - 2.0 inches instead of 1.5.

White Balance options are Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Fluorescent and Incandescent. The scene selection modes are Twilight, Twilight Portrait, Soft Snap, Landscape, Beach, Candle and Snow.

This camera is compatible with conversion lenses, making it suitable for both beginners and more experienced users.

The software included with the camera is Picture Package, PIXELA ImageMixer and USB Driver.

I have been through a few cameras in the past few years and i can definitely say this is the best one i have owned! it has everything other cameras have and more! It works great in all conditions night, day, dusk, micro the list goes on! I can safly say this must be the BEST camera for this kind of price! I would rate it 11/10! Anyone who want/needs a digital camera for any reason this is the one!

This is a great camera, great crystal clear photos, great macro pictures, great colurs, the LCD 2 inch screen is very bright, clear and shows the picture very clearly. Its a good thing that all accessories come with it, USB cable, TV out, 2 batteries and charger. Night pictures are very good because it has a strong flash and thus you won't get dark pictures or rfed eye. Just one thing,it's a little bit heavy, I love the camera and will give it 10/10. Well done Sony!
